Tim trained at Sotheby's, London and has over 35 years experience in the Australian auction industry. During his career, Tim has presided over many of the largest Australian auction events. He has been responsible for growing the company into the largest Australian owned internationally operated auction house by turnover. Tim is one of a few specialists in Australia referred to as a 'Generalist' in that he has had vast experience across many fields. He is the longest practicing fine art auctioneer in the country.

Geoffrey graduated with an honours degree in fine arts from The University of Melbourne in 1992. From 1990 to 2006 he was employed by the National Gallery of Victoria and in October 2006 resigned from his position as Curator of Australian Art (20th Century) after a long and distinguished career. At the National Gallery of Victoria, Geoffrey Smith curated numerous outstanding and highly successful exhibitions of Australian art that toured nationally and attracted record attendances. He was also responsible for recommending and securing some of the greatest masterpieces of nineteenth and twentieth century art ever acquired for the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Victoria. Perceived by many as a 'leading curator of Australian art' in this country, Geoffrey is a world authority on many of Australia's most important artists.

Dalia Stanley was engaged by one of Australia's former largest auctioneers, Geoff K. Gray, as a fine art specialist for over 10 years. She subsequently established her own boutique auction house, Stanley & Co in Sydney which she operated successfully for over 5 years. Bonhams & Goodman acquired Stanley & Co in 005 and appointed Dalia as a Senior Specialist in Antique Furniture and Decorative Arts. Like Tim Goodman, Dalia is one of the longest standing fine art auctioneers in the industry and is also considered to be one of the few senior 'Generalists'.

Alec was educated in England and America and started his career in advertising. He moved to Australia in 1964 and commenced a career working with books in 1970 operating The Rocks Bookshop in Sydney for 5 years. Alec's interest in books spans some 70 years - he became interested in books as a youth as his family had a large collection which was subsequently sold. He has been consulting to Tim Goodman and Bonhams & Goodman for 30 years. Alec assists Tory Page with appraising and cataloguing books and manuscripts.

Cath brings to her role more than 20 years of experience in the motor racing industry including running a successful marketing/hospitality company for classic sports car rallying and Formula 1 Grand Prix. Sir Jackie Stewart, Jaguar Racing Limited and Michelin were among her premier clients. Cath comes from a motoring Dynasty in Australia, her father Lex Davison won no fewer than four Australian Grand Prix. She collects sports cars and British motorcycles and has competed in various events in particular Targa Tasmania, Classic Adelaide and the infamous La Carrera Panamericana road race in Mexico in marques such as Alfa Romeo and Aston Martin.

Jane has worked in the Fine Jewellery industry for the past 12 years starting out as an assistant valuer and auctioneer at a specialist jewellery auction house. During this time Jane became a qualified gemmologist and diamond grader and after completing her studies she tutored at the Gemmological Association of Australia. She went on to become the workshop manager at Jan Logan, building on her experience in jewellery design and remodelling. Her appointment as a Specialist brings a wealth of experince to the Fine Jewellery department in Melbourne.
